What happens if the sitter I request isn’t available?

 

Depending on the time of your request, a notification will immediately be sent to your chosen sitter. If the sitter you selected declines the sit request, Night Out Nanny will begin to connect with our team of sitters that we believe will suit your needs.

How much notice do I need to give in order to book a sitter?

 

The more notice you give, the better! But OUR expertise is getting you a sitter during those unexpected times! Our sitters have the ability to make their own schedule. They are able to set their availability as early or as late as they wish. We strive to always have a bundle of sitters ready and able to help when needed!

What happens to my booking fee if I no longer need my sitter?

 

Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to another date once the sitter has been confirmed.  You can cancel any confirmed requests online directly from your account.  You will incur additional cancellation fees if the cancellation is within 24 hours.

Can I change the date of my confirmed request?

 

A.You cannot change the date of a confirmed sit request.  You must email or call us directly to cancel the confirmed sit and request the new date needed.You will need to pay a new booking fee.

What should I do if I need to change the time of my scheduled sit?

 

If you would like to make a time change request and your sitter has already been confirmed please contact Night Out Nanny directly via phone to request the time change.  We will contact your sitter immediately to see if she/he can accommodate your request.  Please do not change the time through your account if a sitter has been confirmed as this will cause the sitter to be removed from the sit in case they aren't able to accommodate the new hours.

How can I book a sitter through the website?

 

It's easier than you think to start booking a sitter through Night Out Nanny

  • Determine the date(s) and time(s) that you need a sitter

  • Either register as a new family or log into your account

  • View our list of sitters and fill out our booking form. After, we will send you an email of your sitter along with more of her info (such as CPR/First Aid Certification).

  • You'll enjoy the peace of mind knowing your kids are in the hands of professionals!

What type of services do you offer?

 

We proudly provide fun, hands on  and experienced sitters to fit the needs of Houston Texas and surrounding cities and Los Angeles families. We are bonded and fully insured.

Our specialty is helping families that are in need of last minute help. We also have the ability to help families that are looking for part time babysitters and long term babysitters as well!

What is the minimum hours of service? 

 

All services have a 4 hour consecutive minimum. If you need less then 4 hours, please call us directly to set something up. 

 

 

 

What is the Maximum hours of service? 

 

This should be a converstaion that goes on between you and your selected sitter. If you need more then 8 hours and no sitter is available, please call us directly so that we can set something up.

 

What if im out and want to stay out longer? 

 

Please contact your sitter ASAP and let her know your new estimated time arrival. IF your sitter is unavailable to stay longer, please make the arrangements to arrive home the time you have listed as your end time as we wish to be considerate to our sitters. However, if there is an emergency, Please call us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate your situation.

PRICING

What is a booking fee and I do I pay it every time I need a sitter?

 

A booking fee is paid via credit card each time you request a sitter.  This fee is the payment made to Night Out Nanny for providing a sitter for you.  The fee is non-refundable and cannot be swapped out for another date.

What does it cost to hire a nanny or sitter?

 

Our sitters have the ability to set their own prices. Please review the sitters' profiles for a complete list of prices for their hourly rate.

How do I pay? 

 

To pay our mandatory booking fee, please proceed to our payment section of the booking form.

 

Do I need to tip our sitter?

 

 No, you do not need to tip your sitter but if you feel that they did an exceptional job, a tip would be much appreciated.

 

What is your cancellation policy? 

 

Booking fees are non refundable and paid at the time of your booking. Cancellation fee of 20.00 will be charged to your credit card if cancellation occurs less the 24 hours prior to start of service. 2 Business hours or less notice of cancellation incurs the full 4 hour minimum charge.
